Oda Nobunaga was a legendary man of the late Sengoku period. He rose to fame in an unstoppable momentum and became a warlord using his remarkable talent. Born as a maverick, he was well known by people for the victory against the army of Imagawa Yoshimoto in Okehazama. At that time, the right wings in Japan, however, were hostile to this powerful man for his different standpoint. Therefore, they incited Akechi Mitsuhide, a major general of Nobunaga's army, to seize the opportunity when all the other generals were on expedition and launch a surprise attack against Nobunaga in Honnoji. The warlord committed suicide afterwards, but no one has ever found his body.
